Brothers All,
Thanks to Brother Mike Palko, our council sponsored Essay and Poster Contest submissions did very well. How about the best in the state. The children of Annunciation Catholic School, grades K thru 8, were given the theme “Substance Abuse” and they produced some brilliant ideas against the abuse of drugs. They won each grade level submitted. Each grade winner received a KofC 6648 check for $25.00 and awarded a winners certificate. Each participant was awarded a letter of appreciation. The North Carolina Knights of Columbus State Council chose the following winners. Their poster and essay will be submitted to the Supreme Council in New Haven, CT for the National / International contest.

We are located at Annunciation Catholic Church in Havelock, NC the home of MCAS Cherry Point. We have one of the strongest councils in the state of NC and are always looking for new ways to serve. We cordially invite you and your family to join us as we serve our Church, Community, Family and Youth. We meet the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 for business. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 for a Rosary and Social — families are most welcome. Our 4th Degree meets the 4th Wednesday at 7:30.
